SiYo, Greetings, I am a Cherokee Woman that has studied not only my tribes herbal medicine, but other cultures exploration of what the Earth Mother has placed here. My Grandmother was an herbalist, and so was her Great Grandmother. We are all Children of the Earth, and lifelong students. I am part of the Cherokee Medicine Society and webmaster for this site. I teach what I know, and learn what I'm exposed too. The Great Mystery is all around us, if we pay close attention we can hear the whispers of our ancestors and those whispers of All our Green Relatives, each with a story to tell and a gift. The world is complete. For every illness, there is a cure growing somewhere. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves healthy, and to keep All Our Relations healthy. To always be prepared for the unexpected with a year supply of food and medicine on hand. If it isn't in your cupboard, then you need to be able to identify it out in the woods, or have it growing out in your garden. It is my and your responsibility to pass on the "Craft of the Wise" to future generations. I am now an elder, and have studied the ways of the Earth for 66 winters. I have no video's of myself explaining the mysteries of the herbs, but have a few friends that speak well of what they have learned. For every woman that nurses her family is a Medicine Woman. Every woman that makes a home, nurtures her family is a Healer of the souls of those she cares for and is too a Medicine Woman.
